They're quite serious and well known, there are many categories in which ou can vote for the already nominated bands/artists or write your own choices. You must be logged in to vote and you can vote only once with every account (that's why i said they're well made).

Tarja is nominated in the "Best Symphonic Metal" category but of course you can vote for her also in other fitting categories using write-in votes.
